The Owensboro Community & Technical College's Workforce Solutions Team invites you to enhance your nonprofit organization's capabilities with practical AI training. Designed specifically for nonprofit leaders, these workshops focus on using AI responsibly and effectively in everyday tasks. Gain real-world AI skills and move beyond the hype with our focused, practical approach.
Sessions Include:
- Interactive Workshops: Live demonstrations, hands-on exercises, and prompt-writing practice.
- Real-World Applications: Utilize AI in real nonprofit examples and use cases.
- Supplementary Online Training: Access a nine-module, self-paced online training between sessions.
Practical Skills Development
- Understand what AI tools can- and cannot- do in nonprofit work
- Use generative AI tools confidently for writing, summarizing, and planning
- Apply a simple framework for writing effective AI prompts
- Build a reusable "prompt library" for common nonprofit tasks
- Identify where AI can save time in daily workflows
Cost and Registration
Cost: $15 per person, per session
Attendance Limit: Up to 2 people per organization (50-person total attendance limit)
Facilitator Information
Dr. Ryan Hall, AI & Innovation Lead at Owensboro Community and Technical College, is a renowned expert in AI and innovation. He is a member of the KCTCS Board of Regents and AI Steering Committee, and the former President of ESLI, a multinational education company. Dr. Hall is a published author on AI in education and frequently speaks on AI strategy and workforce transformation across Kentucky. His expertise focuses on AI readiness, workforce disruption, and helping organizations move beyond the AI hype cycle into practical adoption.
